How long does it take to ship out my order?
Most orders received Monday–Friday by 11:00 am CST ship the same day. Same Day Shipping is subject to product availability and holiday restrictions.
How are shipping costs calculated?
Several factors contribute to the cost of shipping: location, shipping method, and weight of the merchandise.

How do I cancel or change my order?
Once an order is submitted, it is immediately sent to our warehouse for processing, and if the order has not shipped, you have the option to change or cancel the order. Please contact us immediately.

Can I get a refund?
Microplane® produces only the highest quality goods and we want you to be completely satisfied with our product. However, if you are not satisfied, we have a 30 Day Money Back Guarantee which allows you to return an item in its original, unused condition (including all original packaging and tags) within 30 days for a full refund, less shipping costs. What types of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit/debit cards with the following logos: MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. You can also checkout with PayPal.

All orders ship from McAllen, TX, USA.
How does your Free Shipping work?
If available, the free standard shipping promotion applies only to shipping costs on orders over the specified amount of the promotion. Free standard shipping promotion only applies to Standard Shipping option. Promotion excludes Second Day Shipping and Next Day Shipping, for which listed rates apply.
Free standard shipping promotion only applies to delivery addresses in the 48 contiguous United States. The promotion does not apply to shipments sent to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses or P.O. Box addresses. Orders must ship to a single address. Free standard shipping promotion is not valid if items in an order are canceled, bringing the subtotal below the specific amount of the promotion. Promotion will be applied as a credit toward the shipping and handling fee.
Why isn't my promo code working?
Please enter the code exactly as it appears on our site or in the offer you received. If the code is entered correctly but still not working, please verify it is not expired, and the items you are attempting to order are eligible for the specific promotion. Can you ship to an international address?
All orders submitted on us.microplane.com can only be sent to U.S. addresses. If you need international assistance, you can contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

How can I track my order?
After your order has shipped, our system generates a shipping confirmation to the e-mail address you have provided. This e-mail will list shipped items, the shipping method used and the tracking number(s). You can use this information to track your order.

What kind of warranty do you offer?
We at Microplane love our customers and want everyone to be thrilled with our products but if you are having problems with our products, we want to hear from you! Microplane has a limited lifetime warranty and to submit a warrany request please visit Returns and Exchanges for more information.
How can I buy Microplane products locally?

Why is the metal so thin?
The thickness allows us to etch and form a very sharp tooth economically. Just remember to use a light touch and let the sharpness of the tool do the cutting for you. Applying a great amount of force is not necessary.
Where are these tools made?
The blades are manufactured in our plant in Russellville, AR, USA and the handles are molded and assembled in Mexico.
Does the rotary shaper rotate clockwise?
Yes, the Microplane Rotary Shaper rotates clockwise. Materials being fed into the shaper should be fed left of center to reduce kickback.
Do I have to sand after I use your tools?
If you are looking for a polished finish, then yes you will need to use sandpaper after using our tools. Our fine and coarse blades offer a rough-cut and sanding is needed for a nice, polished finish.
