Originally a woodworking tool, this spice grater tackles even the hardest spices like nutmeg with ease. Ideal for grating a touch of fresh cinnamon or chocolate over the top of your hot drink.

Care & Cleaning
  • Dishwasher safe.
  • We recommend rinsing your grater in warm water immediately after each use. Remove trapped particles from the non-sharp side whenever possible. To remove trapped particles on the front, first soak the tool in warm water and then use a cleaning brush to stroke in the same direction as the teeth.
  • Store with blade covered when not in use.

The microplane I purchased was part of a Christmas present for my sister - in - law. I made the mistake of showing her mine I purchased in New York City on a trip to see my daughter. At Thanksgiving time she had made eggnog for everyone and I took over my microplane and some whole nutmegs. It was a hit of course. Everyone loved the taste of fresh grated nutmeg, in their eggnog. So I bought one for her. She was very surprised on Christmas day to see her own microplane. Thanks again for the great help and service.

I've been using Microplane zesters and graters for quite some time now, and I don't know what I'd do without them. When my spice grater broke, with the handle in one hand and the metal grater in the other, I felt like I lost my best friend. This time I ordered two. I'll keep a spare for a gift or if mine breaks I won't have to wait for a replacement, whichever comes first.
