Product Details
  • Each shaper creates small shavings instead of dust for a healthier work environment.
  • Dimensions: 7 " x 11/32" x 3/8"
  • Weight: 3 oz.
  • Materials: Blade made of 400 series stainless steel. Plastic Handle

  • Use on wood, plastic, sheetrock, rubber, and similar materials.
  • Fine tooth pattern designed for intricate, delicate cuts.
  • Protect your Microplane® Shaping Rasps by applying light pressure to the end and back of the tool while using. This will help prevent breaking the tool and provide more stability and control to your cuts .

Why is the metal so thin? These are easy to break!

The current thickness allows us to etch and form a very sharp tooth economically. Just remember to use a light touch and let the sharpness of the tool do the cutting for you.

Where are these tools made?

The blades are made in Russellville, Arkansas. The tools are molded and assembled at our plant in Mexico.

Who produced the video shown on this page?

I need a tool to shape and adjust the fit of my bowling bowl ball finger grips. I had bought a tool that was supposed to do this job. The tool was to big leaving little room to work. I went on line to see if I could find something smaller. I saw the Microplane small round rasp and promptly bought one. This tool fit my need perfectly. It's small enough to fit the finger insert with space to do it's job. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is I would like the cutting action on the draw instead of the push.
